ENCAP, Inc. is focused on four environmental service groups that are critical to land development. Ecological Consulting, Native Landscaping, Agricultural Drain Tile Investigation, and Erosion Control Solutions.

By specializing in these core environmental services, we have created a practical knowledge base to develop and implement erosion control plans, native landscaping plans, and restoration plans with an unsurpassed sense of responsibility. The accuracy of our initial data collection, reporting, and site assessments enable us to create and implement practical native landscaping and erosion control plans that economically meet the needs of our clients while maintaining and/or enhancing local water quality functions.

Ecological Consulting

Our ecological consultants are responsible for assessment of future development sites. Services include; wetland delineations, tree surveys, and preparation of natural resource planning maps. Collected data is utilized to prepare erosion control plans, native landscaping plans, and to complete and process Federal, State, and Local permit applications. ENCAP, Inc. consultants specialize in expediting environmental tasks associated with developer due diligence.

Native Landscaping

Our Native Landscape Specialists are responsible for planting natural area projects, and maintaining open space areas. This team specializes in installing vegetation within naturalized storm water management facilities, creating wetland mitigation areas, establishing buffers to preserved wetlands, and providing long-term stewardship within these areas.

Agricultural Drain Tile Survey

Tiles are identified and flagged utilizing exploration trenches. The location of tiles is mapped utilizing a total station surveying instrument operated by a quality land surveyor. This information will be tied into topographic mapping provided by the client’s surveyor.

Drain tile and exploratory trench locations will be presented on a plan sheet with detailed tile descriptions shown in tabular format.

The mapping of the field tile investigation is presented on a plan sheet and delivered to the client within two weeks of completion of survey.

Erosion Control Solutions

Existing site conditions and proposed grading plans are evaluated to prepare detailed erosion control and sedimentation plans including the development of Stormwater Pollution Prevention Programs (SWPP) in conformance with NPDES Phase II requirements for developing projects. ENCAP, Inc. is equipped to install erosion control measures, monitor construction sites for erosion control problems, and repair problems as identified.
