Since 2002, ENCAP, Inc. has been performing agricultural drain tile investigations to further assist the development community with their due diligence requirements. Our drain tile investigations are tailored to meet the requirements of local development ordinances and provide the developer with the following critical information:

• Research of historical drainage information
• Accurate description of the depth of tile
• Accurate description of the condition of tile
• Accurate description of the type and size of tile
• Accurate description of the amount of flow within the tile
• surveyed location of tile

While minimizing disturbance to the site, a process of probing and slit trenching is utilized to locate field tile. Tiles are identified and flagged. The location of tiles is mapped utilizing a total station surveying instrument operated by a quality land surveyor. The mapping of the field tile investigation will be presented on a plan sheet and delivered to the client within two weeks of completion of survey.
