Joe Alanizis the Senior Vice President of ENCAP, Inc. Joe oversees all business operations across all divisions of the company. Prior to coming to ENCAP, Inc. in 2002, Joe has worked at major corporations such as Koch Industries, Airborne Express and IBM, he has also owned and operated small businesses in the past. These experiences combined with his finance degree from Northern Illinois University bring a level of business and client understanding not found in most of our competitors. Since 2002, Joe has gained solid working knowledge of native landscaping, erosion sedimentation control, and ecological consulting. Mr. Alaniz is viewed by many as a reliable professional capable of addressing the ecological challenges facing land development today. |

Ryan Alltop, CPESC-IT, CESSWI-ITis an Erosion and Sediment Control Specialist who has been with ENCAP for two years. Ryan has a bachelors degree in biology from Grand Valley State University and has obtained professional certifications as a CPESC-IT, CESSWI-IT, and DECI. Ryan has a vast variety of practical experience managing native landscape and erosion and sediment control installations on projects for ENCAP in Wisconsin, Indiana and Illinois. |

Matt Bivins, CPESC, CESSWIis the Soil Erosion and Sediment Control Division Assistant Manger. Matt has been with ENCAP, Inc. since 2005. He is a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC), a Certified Sediment and Storm Water Inspector (CESSWI), and a Lake County, IL Designated Erosion Control Inspector (DECI). He received a Bachelors of Arts from Augustana College, Rock Island, IL with a major in Biology and a minor in Environmental Studies. His areas of expertise are erosion and sediment control Best Management Practice (BMP) installation and maintenance, site stabilization, NPDES compliance, anionic polyacrylamide enhanced BMPs, construction site inspections, and storm water pollution prevention plan development and maintenance. |

Chip Deangelois a graduate of Calvin College in Grand Rapids, MI with a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science with a Biology emphasis. After graduating in 2000, he worked for the Zahniser Institute in Greenville, IL doing prairie and wetland planting and monitoring. In 2002 Chip came to Encap Inc.’s restoration division where he manages planting, installation, management, and controlled burns at our clients’ native areas. |

Mark DeDinahas been a restoration project manager with ENCAP since 2007. Mark is a graduate of Ripon College with a degree in Biology and Environmental Studies. His areas of expertise and interest include ornithology and conservation biology. He directs and manages installation and maintenance projects for the native landscaping and erosion and sediment control divisions at ENCAP. |

Pat Hickeyis the Senior Staff Ecologist with ENCAP and has a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin – Steven Point where he majored in Natural Resource Management and minored in Biology. Pat began working for ENCAP, Inc. in 1991; however, joined the Peace Corps in 1993 and spent 2 years in Honduras dealing with ecological concerns. In May 1997 Pat resumed his employment at ENCAP, Inc. and has risen to the position of Senior Staff Ecologist. Over the years Pat has focused on assisting ENCAP, Inc. clients meet project goals regarding all aspects of wetland delineation, permitting, mitigation and monitoring. He is a Certified Arborist, Kane County Qualified Wetland Review Specialist, and Lake County Certified Wetland Specialist and Designated Erosion Control Inspector. |

Jonathan Koepke, CPESC, LEED-APis the erosion and sediment control division manager for ENCAP, Inc. in Sycamore, IL. ENCAP’s Erosion and Sediment Control Division designs and prepares SWPPP’s, inspects sites for NPDES compliance and performs installation and maintenance of stormwater BMP’s on active construction sites in Northern Illinois. Jonathan Koepke has been with ENCAP, Inc. at this position since 2006. Prior to coming to ENCAP, Jonathan was the Resource Conservationist at the Kane-DuPage Soil & Water Conservation District. While at the KDSWCD for 5 years, he performed erosion control plan review and site inspection for compliance with US Army Corps of Engineers, IEPA, and Municipal erosion and sediment control regulations. Jonathan is a graduate of Northern Illinois University where he completed both his Bachelors and Masters degrees. His areas of expertise and interest include streambank stabilization and restoration techniques, Polyacrylamide use for erosion and sediment control, and revegetative techniques on construction sites. |

Kenny McPeekis a graduate of Highland Community College and began work at ENCAP in 2002. Kenny has extensive experience in equipment operation, agriculture, and native landscaping and restoration techniques. He manages multiple projects including native landscaping installations, natural area management, and erosion and sediment control installation. |

Susan Morrow, LEED-APis a ecological consultant with ENCAP, Inc. Susan completed a Bachelors of Science from Illinois State University with an emphasis on Environmental Studies. Susan has been an Ecological Consultant with ENCAP, Inc. since 2005. She is currently a Certified Arborist, a LEED Accredited Professional, and a Certified Wetland Specialist in Lake and McHenry Counties, IL. Her expertise involves environmental consulting, federal, state, and local regulatory guidance, native landscape design and installation, wetland identification and classification, tree inventories, and natural resource monitoring. |

Carl Peterson, LEED AP, CPESCis the Vice President and Consulting Division Manager of ENCAP, Inc. ENCAP’s Consulting Division designs naturalized stormwater management plans, native landscaping projects, and assists private and public land development professionals obtain Federal, State, and Local permits relating to wetlands, natural resource management and Stormwater Ordinances. The Consulting Division at ENCAP, Inc. also monitors our native landscaping projects for government compliance and quality control. Carl manages this division to assure that ENCAP’s projects meet internal standards and client expectations. Carl completed his Bachelors in Environmental Science at Roosevelt University where he graduated with honors. |

SARAH ROZNY, OFFICE MANAGERIs the Office Manager with ENCAP and has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Northern Illinois University. Sarah manages the front office staff, handles human resources needs, and billing. Prior to joining ENCAP, Sarah has experience in the construction industry working for FCL Builders and FH Pascen general contractors as Project Assistant and Accountant. |
